Koh Tao - Thailand

After some day in Pattaya,the party city we were happy to find a quiet,relax and stunning island.
Digby is doing is final diving course so everyday he need to be at the diving center, luckely we 've got the accomodation free with the diving center! we are almost in front of the sea .
This is island is really cute, the beach is more than nice with all the bars where we can tan, eat and listen nice music.
We rent a motorbike for explore the island and the other beatches, really beautiful places.
Sophie tried to drive the motorbike but it was a drama: she went straigt into a garden a fell in a middle of plants!!!! it was really funny
We are enjoying our paradise ,and will move now toKoh Phi Phi who is apparentely one of themost beautiful island in Thailand.

 

Koh Nang Yuan -Thailand

PARADISE ISLANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those 3 small islands are based next Koh Tao, the only way to go is to take a taxi boat and in 10min you arrive in Paradise!
Digby was diving all the day so Sophie went spend the day there. Unfortunately the weather this week is really cloudy and this day in particular, i guess when is sunny the water is even more turquoise !
Also is full moon now and the sea is really high so the beach are really small, and onKoh Nang Yuan the beaches who join the 3 islands are now cover with water.
But anyway it was still an amazing day and amazing place to visit! it's feel like being the only person in the world!!
We wanted to go back and spend one night in one of those amazing bungalows but a big storm is plan for the next 3 days so there is no point to go and not sure that the taxi boat will go either!
Of course Digby will still go around the island with his diving school and have the chance to look to the fish next the island, apparentely one of the most beautiful place for dive in the world.

Pattaya - Thailand

Thailand!!! So happy to be there! After beeing so cold in Tibet we are really happy to come back to the beach with hot temperature!
So Pattaya..one of the closest beaches to Bangkok, just over an hours drive (£10) in a taxi. This beach side resort town is 24H on the go, cheap and a greatmoral booster. We have never been called sexy man and sexy lady so many times before in our lives. Coupled with the fact that the average age is 40+ most people are a little over weight. This means if you are in your twenties you really feel like and constantly be told you are the best looking person ever! The beer is cheap in most places every one is friendly especially the lady boys.
You can go diving. jetskiing, parachute jumping, waterskiing, have a massage or chill in the Sun. A cheaper version of what Florida might have looked like in the 80's. The clubs and bars are packed and buzzing, crowded walking street blasting techno to trance, live rock bands there is something for every one. Its easy to see the apeal for so many, also 10 - 15 min away there are calmer more relaxing beaches, or 30min ferry ride to Koh Larn Island.
But it lacks the picturesque lagoon with towering island rock formations most people imagine when they think of Thailand, so after 5 days of partying with Frankie 4 Finergers and Stevie. Time for Koh Tao and Koh Phi Phi for some amazing beaches and lagoons....
