Townsville to Sydney - Australia

And on the road again!

Here our final trip : Townsville to Sydney.

We decided to go straigh to Sydney and to sell the van ASAP , if we have time we will fligh to Melbourne for some days.
Drive Sydney Melbourne will take us 6 days with return and we have to sell the van before the 22 of April! so we decided to be resonate and to sell it first.

So during our journey we stopped over really nice places as Glastone : we saw Cecile, really nice to see a part of the familly here in Auz! she is in a really nice familly so we are sure she will have an amazing journey and experience!

- Town 1770, first place where we can surf after the great barrier reef, Digby really enjoyed it.

-Gold Coast: not possible to passed through the Gold Coast without say a last goodbye to our friends

- Byron Bay: last time we stayed only half a day so this time we really spend time to surf, and enjoy the cute hippi village

- Crescent Head: we loved so much this small bay it was not possible to don't go back, also Digby really wanted to surf there.

- Port Stephens: nice area near Sydney, but now the weather is cold! we know wer are in the south now!! and it's winter coming!

And now we arrived in Sydney and try to sell our van as soon as possible, even if we are really sad to sell it.

We are selling it via Sydney travellers car market, so hopefully our little vanetos will find an other owner soon.

Travelling around Australia is just amazing! we wish we could go futher and do all the west coast, central etc....

Next time for sure!
AUSTRALIA WE WILL BE BACK!

Whitsundays - Australia

Whitsundays...... or the best place to be in the tropical Queensland!

We changed a litle bit our plans for this trip: we decided to don't go up to Cairns ( 2 more days driving and our objectif was to dive at the great barrier reef, the best place for that is the Whitsundays).
So we decided to go to a sailing diving cruise during 3 days.

We were in a group of 25 peoples, all between 20 and 25 years old. and no one from Australia!

The boat was amazing, the crew really professionel and so nice.
We had the most amazing 3 days, we were really sad to leave !

We saw dolphins jumping of the sea during the sunset, shark swiming next the boat at night, and during our dive: lot of multicolors fish, turtles,.. and stunning corals.

Digby enjoyed the dives and did more than 6 times and Sophie only 2 had she is not certificate.

I really advice anybody who wants to go diving on the whitsundays to do this cruise, it's amazing, in 23 days we can see all the island and dive in all the places possible day as night, and you can do anything you want: dive, snorkelling, or just sunbathing on the boat!

Now we are back south and really sad to leave the tropics!
