After lots of deliberation, asking advice from our friends, looking at other round the world blogs etc.. we decided finally to take a computer with us!
So Digby bought this one ( actually it was for Sophie's birthday) it is smaller than our mac's.
We have travel insurence and we will save all our pictures on photobucket, video on youtube and importants paper on dropbox, so nothing will be saved on it.
We bought it because we think it will be easier to post on the blog, and we will save lot of money because we wont waiste hours in internet cafe's,hopefully find some free wifi on the way! As well as this som travelinge friends told us that after a long day travelling you prefer stay at the hostel and conect to the wifi than to need to go down stairs or down the street and wait your turn in line to use the one computer available( with a really low connection speed) on internet! So better to use our own little note book, and save time to see the real sites each place has to offer.
We decided to cover the netbook with tape to hide the brand and make it look as cheap and un-interesting as possible to a potential thief. (plus the usual password protection)
