After 2 nice weeks in Argentina we took the same bus again Mendoza- Santiago,but this time we took it by day.
The view of the Andes was really beautiful and crossing the border was a lot more organised and faster, this time we did not need to tip the border guards to get our bags through this time.
We spent only 2 days in Santiago, but it was nice to see it.
it remind us Barcelonna a lot, the city center is really nice, lot of parcs , fontaines,etc...
Lot of lovers who love chill out in the sun in the city, kissing on park benches.
We visited loads of churches and cathedrals, a castle on a hill with views of the whole city with the impressive back drop of the snow capped Andes. They seem so close to the city, it is as if they are almost part of the city.
Our hostal was strange for the lak of backpackers and people in and out all day and night but except for the two of us no one seemed to sleep regular hours. Most slept in the afternoon. Every one was friendly and it was safe and clean, just very very different vibe to every else we have stayed so far.
Then at 3:30am time to get up and off to the airport heading to Buenos Aires! all the other backpackers was still partying in the hostel, we were the only people who went to sleep early and wake up so early!
